A talisman is an object which is believed to contain certain magical or sacramental properties which would provide good luck for the possessor. When this design emerged, it reminded me of something I remember seeing as a child. It was a small metal object that held a piece of parchment inside it and was nailed to the door frame at the front of a house. The parchment was more often than not a prayer and the shape of the container is what these beaded elements reminded me of. The Talisman Cuff is made up of a string of these delightful little beaded objects and as you bead up and connect each piece, you can whisper your own wishes for well being and peace. Enjoy the process :)
