This Modified Pondo stitch (African Circle Stitch) is a must in your beading itinerary. It appears to be RAW, but with a twist. It also looks like a flattened-out Chevron stitch, but it's not. I have modified the pattern slightly and created a variation to make it more interesting to learn. You will see that this stitch lends itself beautifully to extra embellishments. Make it as narrow or as wide as you want...whatever you do, use the best beads you have and enjoy the process

3mm fire-polished beads or bicone
4mm glass pearls
2 colours 8/o seed beads
 11/o seed beads
